Sexual violence is a cross-cutting reality that demands coordinated, sensitive, and clinically grounded responses from all professionals who come into contact with victims or offenders.
Clinical Objectives
- Recognise and respond ethically and in a trauma-informed manner to situations of sexual violence.
- Apply principles of assessment, intervention and therapeutic communication with people involved in situations of sexual violence.
- Articulate clinical intervention with specialised resources and services, promoting an integrated, multidisciplinary response centred on the rights, safety and well-being of the people involved.
