In this course, you will acquire the necessary skills to assess, diagnose, and treat the main vestibular dysfunctions in a safe, effective, and evidence-based manner.

Clinical Objectives

  • Further refine the clinical reasoning process for patients with dizziness and balance complaints.
  • Conduct a proper history for individuals with dizziness in a structured and goal-oriented manner.
  • Perform an adequate clinical screening (red flags/triage) to determine if medical referral or consultation is indicated.
  • Independently and completely perform the diagnostics and treatment for Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).
  • Gain insight into current scientific evidence regarding BPPV and vestibular rehabilitation.
  • Provide targeted and evidence-based treatment to reduce dizziness symptoms and limit the risk of falls.
